Activision Blizzard exec on what can we expect in gaming advertising in 2025

A more holistic gaming strategy, deeper insights into today’s players, and the diversity of platforms used for gaming — these are some of the key trends to watch this year, according to Claire Nance, Head of Global Gaming Business Success Strategy at Activision Blizzard.

Nance also highlights the evolving demographics of players, emphasizing that a huge group of gamers are moms (“two thirds of moms are gamers”). So, we should erase the stereotype of players as just teenagers. Advertisers can now reach almost every audience among players.
